Certified de Bono Trainers must recertify in each course every 2 years. You must also own the most recent version of the instructor notes.

de Bono Trainer Recertification Option 2

Attend a de Bono Public Course delivered by a Master Trainer for each course you need to recertify in.

You will be responsible for presenting a segment of the course(s) you choose to attend (to demonstrate your understanding of the materials), and will then need to arrange a time to get feedback on your delivery from the Master Trainer. The Master Trainer will confirm your eligibility to become recertified.

If the public event is a Certification, you are not required to stay for the presentations portion of the course. You are responsible for your own travel, meals, and are must bring your own course manual with you. You will not be charged a seminar registration fee.

If you are rusty, this is THE BEST WAY to brush up.

de Bono Trainer Recertification Option 3 

Videotape a segment of you presenting a live training course and arrange for a Master Trainer to critique your delivery during a one-hour phone interview.

The segment must show you setting up an exercise and handling feedback from participants.

de Bono Trainer Recertification Option 4

Arrange to participate in a telephone interview with a Master Trainer (one per course), who will ask you questions to test your knowledge of the tools.

You will be expected to ask the Master Trainer questions regarding sales, applying the tools after training, and sustaining interest. The Master Trainer will also make sure that you understand the Six Thinking Hats Online tutorial.

de Bono Trainer Recertification Option 5

Write a case study about how the de Bono Thinking Systems have made a positive impact / improved ROI.

We hope to expand the case study library for the de Bono Consulting network of trainers to use when marketing the de Bono tools. The case study is subject to approval, and de Bono Consulting has the right to edit for readability, tone, grammar, and content.
